Your Osteopath
Stephen Bodger is the osteopath at Palmers Green Osteopaths. He founded the clinic in 2008 after graduating from the British School of Osteopathy and over the years has become highly experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders from neck, shoulder and back pain to trapped nerves, slipped discs and sciatica.
He has developed a deep knowledge in treating sports injuries and many kinds of work related problems such as poor computer posture, repetitive strains and lifting injuries, as well as the usual slips, trips and falls.
For over a decade Stephen has also worked as a specialist on the panels of a number of personal injury rehabilitation providers giving him extensive experience in helping patients with complicated back and neck problems caused by road traffic accidents.
What he likes most about being an osteopath is trying to work out the unique reasons behind each patient's problem and from there determining the best course of action to take; not only to help them get better, but also to empower them with the appropriate tools to help maintain their physical health in the future.
Stephen was inspired to pursue a career in osteopathy after receiving treatment from an osteopath for a back injury he developed while working for a furniture recycling charity 25 years ago. Prior to this he had attended Greenwich University where he studied Applied Biology graduating with First Class Honours.
Outside of being an osteopath Stephen enjoys writing and producing music, running and playing basketball.
